I honestly enjoy my siblings and parents companionship over most anyone else in this world.
I'll give up going out with friends over a chance to talk story with the family, watch my brothers wrestle, play with the neices, cook with my sister, or any other family time activity. My second favorite would be to invite a friend to chill a bit to get a peak into the "BEGAY FAMILY EXPERIANCE".
So for the most part the family has lived geographically close to each other. Always close enough to get together for holidays, birthdays, hay hauling (dad!) or whatever event warrents family togetherness.
Just recently I announced I was moving to Redding, CA in August (to be close to my boyfriend). A few days later my sister Vileena and her husband announced they are moving to Canada in August, and just minutes ago Josh announced he is moving his lil'family to Logan, Utah by the end of the month. So with Jacob already in Seattle, and Naco in Costa mesa our family will be scatter acrossed the western Americas. :)
It's exciting, it gives us alot of options to visit family all over the west. It will be the first time we are actually scattered. I know I'll miss calling my brother or sisters up to come over to eat dinner, jumping in for last minute road trips Or stopping by to play with my niece on the way home from work.
I can't help but worry for my parents with there virtualy empty nest. (Jacob will be back for school) I think about Vee having a baby in another country (canada, ha) all by herself. Away from family to help out. Worry that Josh doesn't realize how nice it is to have family close by to help with stuff like, babysitting, moving, and social activities. Plus, selfish worries like will the new lil'ones being born even know who their Aunty Jo is, when we do get together?
I can feel branches sprouting our of our Family Tree. They are getting stronger and more defined. Growth.
I know our family tree is strong, enough to keep flourishing with the distance.
And It will be look beautiful with the added branches :).
So bring on this MOVE.. we can Can handle it!
