Still Water Pow Wow This weekend was the Stillwater Pow wow, were the local natives all got together in the area. The Shasta College native club was there with a lil'booth to help sell stuff like iced coffee, shaved ice, candy, and water. Joseph and I helped a bit each day, but mostly we goofed around and talked story with everyone. The people selling Navajo tacos next to us were actually from Utah and knew some of our family friends. Plus, they kept referring to Joseph as my husband. I kept correcting them letting them know "he's my boyfriend" but after a while I gave up. Maybe they know something I don't know yet. We had some kids hanging out in the booth and before you know it. They were the ones doing all the work while we sat around, talked and kicked up our feet. Hey! They LIKED working, Promise.
We did find out that when I eat beef stew with fry bread that i get really creepy red eyes and make wierd faces. All in all the weather was nice and we had a good'ole time :)
Oh yeah and Joseph found out the Joys of Kettle Corn, so since the pow wow he has been living off of Kettle Corn and now has an IV of that Home made lemonade , hooked up to him at all times.
