Burney Falls

Joseph and I decided we need to get out and check out, the beauty of the land all around us. So we have been taking a direction and exploring the sites in that direction. This last weekend we went North East. We found ourself in logging country. Their were empty spots where loggers had taken away the beauty of the mountain and left it naked. Pretty sad. In places that weren't touched by loggers were beautiful looking like a sea of tree's.

Further down the way we ran into the beautiful Burney Falls. It was so wonderful, just in the midst of forest it opens up to these huge falls.

FYI the old Tarzan movie was filmed at these falls.

This spot is just a feet away from the falls but the rocks have shielded it from the rushing water..it just sat there all calm.
