Home Sweat Home

So Joseph and I are looking into getting out of our monthly rent by, getting a monthly mortage. We realize we are poor but we also realize that rent is a waste of money and time. It isn't easy to think of buying something when you have nothing to put down. OUr thoughts have gone everywhere from buy a used mobile in a mobile home part to getting a manufactured home to buying a run down tiny lil'home with 1960's wiring on a run down piece of land. We were getting a bit discouraged until we found about this grant called CHIP.

The Idea behind CHIP is a community (entire neighborhood) each pitch in 30 hours a week to help each other build everyone else's homes. At the end you have a new neighbor hoodd at half the price of buying a new home yourself.

We are just investigation this option. But It seems to have alot of perks for us. 1. a NEW home with no one else but US living it
2. A new neighborhood hopefully with people who are working hard to get there dreams
3. You get to learn all about building a home since you yourself are putting in time

So thats our new idea. We are kinda excited to see what happens. we may end up buy a tiny Mobile or we may end up with a new house. but one things for sure, we are on the brink of an Adventure.
