Yes, it's true. The 80's are alive and well, and living in FRANCE!
Seriously, Who would of thought of looking there. If I were to go in search of the 80's my first thought would be Asia, with them buying all of our old NIKES and BK's. But, with this new footage I found no one can deny that the 80's have indeed been living in France.

This is a band "YELLE" is pretty awesome. My favorite part of the video is, in the beginning where the guy pumps up his shoes. I had PUMPS! But it was back in the 80's. :)

aw man, you know that every time something weird like tight pants, light-up belt buckles, and crazy arms while dancing happens in Europe, it'll make its way to the US in another year or two...
I can totally see church dances looking like this.
did she really have a scrolling marque belt buckle? Or was that like showing the base of the music? I never had the pump shoes but I think my brother might have.
Scrolling marque? Is that what that was? I was wondering why her crotch was lighting up.
The pump was funny to. We were playing v-ball on wed. and one of the dudes stopped to do something after he aced a serve...I was clueless until he told me he was stopping to "pump his shoes." Ha, ha...who knew? :)
Wow, I bet it is dangerous to go to a dance club in France. How would you not get smacked in the head? Maybe every body wears protective head gear. I bet they look awesome.
