One of the joys of being pregnant so far is feeling the baby kick. Our lil'girl is only a pound right now, so her kicks aren't that big. Plus, since she is still so little I don't have those big kicks in the ribs or bladder that people complain about. So far now I just love the constant reminder that she is alive and doing well.
Plus, it has helped me be more conscious of what I listen to, what i say. Because i know lil'ears are already picking up alot of noises and sounds. I feel so connected to her and she isn't here yet. This is truly just the beginning of the Joys of Motherhood. 
This little life isn't here yet and she is already changing our life for the better. As a couple we are making more of an effort to organize our lives in every way. From eating better to, strengthening our love for family, God, and those around us, to just learning to simply clean up the house a bit better. I'm not pretending we have this "How to be Parents' thing down.
I guess I am just happy for the JOYS of Family. :)

awww...jo that's so exciting! I so wish I was there too, but my time will come...=D I would totally be doing the same kinds of things, too: trying to be more neat and clean, trying to manage my money better (it must be a trait with all us indians..LOL) and just become a better person all around...course, I'm trying to do that now so hopefully, when my time comes, I'll be somewhat prepared...=D

I love that children can inspire so much goodness in our own lives. Yay for baby kicks! (actually when I saw the title of this post I thought you were going to say you found some cute baby shoes. lol)
I think we are due around the same time! I am soooooooooo excited for you guys.
Cathy - Your kids are defiantly benefiting from a great mom! And I'm with you, I can't wait to see our lil'one either!
Cyrstal- Isn't it great how kids can be inspiring. Even with Joseph's niece with us this summer she had us feeling like we need to sit up a little straighter.
Veeda- We are Due at the same time. I need to get with you and talk about Doctors, in the Utah area.
Baby kicks are so fun. It's so neat to think that you have a life growing inside of you.
When she gets a bit bigger, it's so cool when you see the baby moving across your belly or poking out. Ian says it looks like "Aliens" but I was pretty sure I had a real baby inside of me.
That's so exciting! I can't wait to hear about everything as your pregnancy progresses!
