I ran across this picture, and I was overwhelmed with a thankfulness for such great men in my life. So here is my appreciation to them all. (Oldest to youngest)
My Dad, Joe Cecil Begay - He has always been an example of hard work, laughter, figuring things out, goals, and unconditional love. His big hugs have make me feel safe and happy. I have memories of working along side of him, laughing so hard my stomach hurt, and even when I had been mad at him, i still couldn't imagine not having him as my Dad. His voice makes me feel of home, even now that I am grown and live so far away from them.
My Husband, Joseph - There couldn't be anyone more perfect to spend my life with. He can be silly with me, even dance around the living room. But when I need a shoulder to lean on or just someone to talk over my day with me, he can be that best friend that every girl needs to talk her heart too. I love him so much, I honestly didn't realize i could feel so comfortable with someone, and miss someone after knowing them just a small amount of my life. I do feel blessed to have him as my husband.
My Brother-In-Law, Nick- I grew up the oldest in the family I would always wonder who my siblings would marry. Nick was lucky enough to have my sister Vileena fall in love with him. I love his patients he has while with his children. He is really good at talking to them with out just ordering them around. He also has the energy to keep up with Vileena and all of her many adventure's. Plus he is Smart. Seriously, he is talented in almost anything he trys out or wants to do. Even if he doesn't want to do it he usually good at it. If only we were all so lucky :)
My Brother, Joshua - Josh and I are 7 years apart. He was our first boy in the family and we were all so excited to have him around. Because he had to grow up with three older sisters, it has made him not be afraid to be outwardly loving. If we were sad or mad or anything he was always there for a big hug and a "i love you". Also, because of his three bratty sisters, he got really good and dealing with girls irrational hormones, he let the negative slide right off. Which we all appreciated too. He is always there for a laugh when we need it.
My Brother, Jacob - He was our surprise (five years younger then Josh and 12 yrs younger then me). When Jacob showed up,he had to deal with One Mother and three mothering sisters. The entire family loved him so much, if any of us were fighting my mom only had to put Jacob in the middle and we would calm down fast. As he got older, we all found out he got all the brains in the family. He was so good and sitting down and figuring things out. Which has been an asset to him in this every changing, technology driven age. He is now serving a mission, and Couldn't be the happier. I am so proud of him!
Nephews, Ty Ty and Ansel- They are both so calm and happy, they balance our there older sisters so well. Each always has a smile on there face, and chubby cheeks for aunties to fill with kisses. Its amazing how much I adore these children that aren't even mine. Being an Aunty really is the best invention ever!
