We're Moving!

So for the past couple of months, our family has been trying to decide what to do with our lives. We had made the decision that we were going to move in Oct of this year, to be closer to family. But we just didn't know how or where. Plus, with a lil'one on the way, Joseph has been feeling the stress of, "How am I going to support my growing family"

We decided we needed to stay with Joseph's company because that is who we have insurance with. Withthe baby on the way we NEED that insurance. Joseph has been talking with the District Manager in Utah, letting him know we want to move there. The District manager, basically told us, when there is an opening it's yours. That opening just never came up. Then we got a call, from the DM in AZ, who said the DM in Utah referred us to him. The AZ DM said, he had an opening in the Bullhead City, AZ branch that would be turning into a managment position in 4 to 5 months. Bullhead City,AZ is HOT HOT HOT but it is only a 1/2 hr from Joseph's Grandmother, Father, Sister and her kids. Plus only 5 to 6 hours to visit my family in Utah, and 8 hours to visit Josephs other sister and brother in CA.

Since it is turning into a management position, that means a higher pay increase and Joseph can sleep at night. Plus, it is only a couple of hours from VEGAS, so hopefully people will visit us when they visit "Sin City". Also, I have tons of relatives in AZ, so it will be nice to be close enough to visit all of them. The plan so far is, Joseph starts his Job in Bullhead on Oct. 7th, and we will be living with Joseph Grandmother, for a couple of months until we settle in.

So, We are moving. It isn't to Utah like we had originally planned. But it is a better opportunity for our growing family. I don't look forward to moving, because moving is JUNK. But I am happy we are no longer in limbo on our future. It looks like our future is in sunny AZ!

Here is a map of our trek.. UGH!

As someone from that general area, let me also point out that in addition to summer temps in the one-teens through the one-twenties, you're going to hit relative humidity well above 80% due to the river. In short, make sure your AC works.

Becca- I know, we still need to schedule dinner sometime, while we are close enough.

Jesse- Ugh, the heat. Well the heat gets up that high here in Redding. But the humidity scares me. I'll have to invent, some sort of Air condition suit to wear when I leave the house.

Congrats on your dh's new position, Jo. Sorry its not in UT, but it sounds like AZ will be better for you that N CA.

Too bad it isn't Utah...
But exciting! Besides the fact the moving is a huge pain, I like it. It's fun to move to a new house, and explore a new town, and meet new people...
