So we are here. Semi-settled and so far really loving it. Joseph might move his store to a more profitable location. So for now, we are living with his Grandmother until we can figure things out. He is doing a fantastic at his job and it has defiantly been a good move for us.
Here are some HIGHLIGHTS and LOWLIGHTS thus far.
-Apparently in this area, they are not set up to allow cellphone's to send Pix or Flix messages. So I now have to use my Cell Phone like a NORMAL phone. Blah! (I can get plain text messages)
-I got to watch Joseph's nephew's play in the Home Coming game. I loved hearing his name every time he made an awesome Tackle.
- Grandma Edna is teaching me to cook, all kinds of delicious food.
- Allergies have taken over our head and will to breath. Even our DOG has been stuffed up and sneezing
- Gas is only $2.88 here compared to $.365 in CA.
- We took Joseph's other nephew shopping for the Homecoming dance, and helped him pick out a corsage to match is dates dress. He was all embarrassed to ask her the color of her dress so he could match her. JUST CUTE!
-Switching addresss, States and banks has been a HUGE PAIN. But hopefully all sorted out soon.
- Casino Buffets, and .5 Cent Keno ha ha
- Casino's and .5 cent Keno Ha ha
- My hair LOVES the dry weather.
- I have to have Joseph's dinner waiting for him on the table right when we walks in from work, or Grandma Edna freaks out. I can't decide if this is a Highlight or a Lowlight. :)
Alot of other Highlights and Lowlights, but I just can't think of them all. A BIG LOW, is for some incredible reason, we didn't get a SINGLE picture of Joseph at his Baptism. WHy? I have no idea, that day was just so busy. Several missionaries did get pictures so we are waiting for them to send us some pics. Until then I'll work on doing a post about the Baptism for you all. It was a beatiful ceremony, Joseph was baptised, confirmed and Ordained with the Aaronic Priesthood on in a the space of an hour. It seems like you wait FOREVER for something to happen, then out of nowhere BING, BAM, Boom! :) The Spirit was defianlty present, and my Husband is proud to be a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In fact we are giving our first talks in church as a couple next week. I am looking forward to talking with my husband in church instead of talking on me own :) . Life is great! Even while we are getting settled.

What part of AZ are you in?
We are currently living in Golden Valley AZ, between Kingman, AZ and Bullhead City, AZ.
Beautiful Desert country. But its winter now, we'll see how I do when the summer heat hits. BLAH!
Congratulations! I'm happy that things are sounding good over there. That's cute about Grandma's expectations! And the corsage shopping, cute! Thank you for keeping us posted.
:)
Speaking of keno reminds me of something funny one of my friends did all the time. We'd go out to eat at one of the casinos and they have the keno cards right there on the tables so you can play while you eat. He'd grab one, write "gambling is a sin" on it and carefully put it back in the middle of the stack. I would have loved to see the bewildered look on the face of whoever drew that card.
Sounds like you have been busy. You look fantastic by the way! Glad to see you guys doing so well. :)
so cute JO! you are one of the cutest pregnant women ever...and I also LOVE grandma's dinner expectations as well as the fact that you can't decide if it's a low or high light! =) you are awesome...=)
