At the moment we are in Flagstaff, AZ gathered as a family. My Nali (My Dad's Mother) , is getting ready to pass one. So we are here to say our goodbye's, and be a support to her during this last few days. Most of my immediate family is present including our cute lil'nieces and nephews. My Husband is at home because he has had to work the last two days.
I realize this isn't the best of circumstances to be together as a family, but it has truly been a blessing to spend time with Immediate and extended family. In the midst of everything going on. I get a call from my Husband that our Lil'Dog Aki,just got ran over. Now Joseph LOVEs this lil'dog. It was his lil'son :( . While he was telling me how it happened I could feel how attached my husband was to Aki. It was very sad.
So I let my family know our sad news. When Louise (Vileena's lil'girl) gets a big smile on her face and says," OH good Aki is going to be with Heavenly Father, and when Nali dies he can protect her on her way to see everyone. PLus, now Aki can go and tell Yo'sea (my lil'one on the way) what good parents you and Joseph are and she will want to come down faster!" She had the largest smile on her face, she thought this was the most fantastic news EVER!
What a sweet way of looking at the situation. Lil'kids really do have a different perspective them us at times. :)

I love it Jo! i totally agree. I look forward to seeing you all this coming week!
That is the sweetest story.
My thoughts are with you and your family. That's really cool you get to spend these last days of your grandmother's life with her and with the rest of your family.
Girl-if your couch makes you sick, it's got to go! No more toxic relationships for me!
I enjoyed reading that story. Thanks for sharing! Kids always tell it, exactly as they see it.
Thank you for sharing that. *hug*
That is so sad! I am sorry for your loss. Pets are special little friends. The quote from your niece is heartwarming. What an optimist.
That is so sweet Jo!
You have an amazing family! I pray for you Grandma. She is a great woman to have raised such a great family
