So as of last week I was dilated to a 2, and having a cramp like feeling on and off through out the day. Then Friday night, no cramps and all day Saturday nothing. My parents decided to come into town on Sunday, so they could meet the lil'one (hoping I would have her) but it is Monday morning and so far nothing. (shrug) The cramp like feeling is back. I keep waiting for it to progress and get more regularly and more painful. Yep, I keep thinking BRING ON THE CONTRACTIONS. I guess I am blissfully unaware of how painful it is.
I do however have an ultrasound schedule for early this morning, and another appt wit the doc. So maybe we will see if I am progressing. In the mean time we are just waiting and preparing. I am excited to see how big the baby is now. Last time I had an ultrasound (three weeks ago) she was already 7 pounds. I'm sure if she is like the rest of our babies, alot of the poundage will be in the cheeks. Chubby cheeks are so cute on a baby!
Until then I really don't have much to report. I am getting increasingly uncomfortable, and the STRETCH MARK MONSTER has found me. Man, I was hiding from him until this last month. Oh well, all part of bringing a lil'one in the world right? Right! :)
I am walking and doing what I can to get this lil'one here faster, if anyone else knows any good ideas to get this labor into ACTIVE labor, I am open to suggestions. HA!

I have heard that as well.
Ask your doc to (I realize how this sounds) strip your cervix that has worked for me both times.
Good Luck, and hopefully it isn't painful for you. One of my sister-in-laws has quick and fairly painless labors. I really wish that on everyone!
I have also had my cervix stripped. I had my baby two days later. Good luck!!
eeek. I say just get as much sleep as possible. And eat ice cream. It'll be good for your milk supply.

Cervix stripped sounds like it hurts. Does it? And Anonymous, I heard sperm has something in it to kick things into gear as well.
Yesterday, I was walking ALL day so I think I'll few errands and some things around the house, then take Crystals suggest of just kicking back and chilling :)
