Food Addiction

I'm addicted, seriously addicted. I have decided to make
Yo'sea her baby food, instead of buy it. I love that fact that I know exactly what is going into my child's food. Plus, it is soo easy, and fun. It helps out that she LOVES the food too. So far we have only tried Zucchini, Yams and Carrots. Basically, all I do is,

Boil the veggie, until very tender. I don't add any seasonings or oils. Just water and veggie. Once it is cooked I, strain it.

Then slap it in the Magic Bullet, get it all the lumps out of it.

Then I pour it in to tiny Tupperware to freeze for later in the week. I usually keep enough in the fridge to eat for the next couple of days. I usually just mix in some water if it is lumpy. And when I serve it to her I usually stir in some of her Oatmeal cereal.

So far she loves it. Which is nice, The tiny Tupperware travel well if we are out and about, so that is very convenient.
When I open my freezer and see, all the tiny frozen baby food neatly stacked in a row.

I makes me Happy.
Silly, but true!

That's so cool. Just never give her soda and her teeth will be great =)

That is great, and a lot cheaper too! I was never that ambitious.

I always thought about doing this, but I thought it would be too much work. Obviously not! Thanks! I am totally going to try this with the next baby!

Great idea. I will have to break out the blender when I have another baby. I'm sure it is definitely alot cheaper and healthier.
