Pinewood Derby Isn't just for kids

This month at church we had an AWESOME activity.

We had an ADULT Pinewood Derby. A month before the activity they handed us our kits, told us to use our imagination, and go for it.

Joseph and I were busy all month, so as time ticked away, our AWESOME idea's had to become less awesome. There just wasnt' enough time to make what we wanted. Before you know it, it was a the night before and we had our dremel out, paints and things. Joseph, ended up breaking his wood, ha ha ha!

I started with the idea of making an AWESOME lowrider El Camino, but I ended up with a REZ TRUCK. ha ha! Hey, I did my best. When we got there, my Rez Truck was too light to go down the tracks, so we had to improvise (Thus the Salt shaker). The salt shaker helped but, after each of my races you they had to sweep the track. Every one was a good sport about it.

We had such a fun night. I loved seeing how creative everyone was. The coolest cars, were the BATMOBILE looking car, and the car's that had were Remote controlled with larger engines. They blue us all out of the water when it came to speed.

The activity was a hit, I would love to do it again next year!
