Night of firsts

FIRSTS.

So Tonight was filled with some "FIRSTS" for Joseph and I.

To set up the background Joseph, and I have been sleeping on a Blow up mattress, that his mom was nice enough to give to us. 

We loved the mattress and were very thankful. Until it popped a hole in the seam (no newly weds jokes please *blush* the church ladies already beat you to it). Since the hole was in the seam, and too hard to patch. For weeks we had been sleeping on the floor. After a bit we got fed up with the blankets on the floor. So we got some gorilla glue, and duck tape and "KINDA" fixed the bed. It was sleep'able but in the middle of the night we would have to wake-up and re-pump the mattress, or wake-up in the morning with both of us in the middle of the bed with our noses touching.

So this morning we yelled at the AIR Mattress Gods and said, "NO MORE. We hate you air mattress!". We knew come March we could save enough for a bed. But March wasn't soon enough, we just couldn't spend another night on the Air Mattress.  So off to work we went with a crick in our neck and bags under our eyes.

Then around 3pm joseph calls me a friend of ours was moving and had to get rid of there perfectly nice bed, with box spring and frame! HOrray!!

He picked it up, dropped it off at our lil'apartment and took me home to see the bed and all its glory :)

I was so happy, I had to make our first batch of cookies :)

So tonight we have our first bed, our first batch of cookies and our first good night sleep as a married couple!

 

*yawn* Goodnight all.
