Babysitter tales.

For the next few weeks, until school starts, between 8:00 am to 5:00pm I am the caregiver for two wonderful children. Markus who just turned 6yrs and Alexis who is 1 1/2. I have had tons of fun, and I realize why mom's are so tired all the time. These two kids have SO MUCH energy, even when they are tired they want to play, play play.

They area also helping me gain some MOM skills. I've learned really quickly some sort of daily schedule is needed and even kind of desired. I still have plenty to learn, but I am really enjoying myself on the way.

The Highlights this week have been, Over hearing Markus on the play ground with some new friends. They new friends were asking about me and Markus was telling them I was there babysitter, and the new friends said I was nice. Markus, told them I am NICE and I cook, AND i play games. THe other two boys were like, "OH WOW LUCKY!" (Its only been a few days Markus, who knows how long I can keep up this, good cook, nice routine)

This morning Lexi had wanted Peanut butter on her pancakes,(which she LOVES) Since she like the Peanut butter more then anything else. At the end of breakfast she had it all over her face. So I get a rad and start cleaning off her face. She quickly realizes that the rag now as Peanut Butter on is. So her lil'tounge comes out and As I am washing her face she is eagerly trying to lick the peanut butter off of the rag. It was hilarious!

There are many other stories, So i'm sure there are will be more in the future.

Oh, and you can thank our Digital Camera for deciding to stop working, for my lovely art, to illustrate this blog.

We are stick people. You don't draw clothes on stick people! Plus, my skills are VERY limited which is very obvious :)

This is great. I was watching a couple of great kids when I was expecting my 2nd and my 1st was not really even walking around. I was EXHAUSTED coming up with new interesting things to do. I've since learned my lesson and keep a general (flexible) schedule. I've noticed the consistency of our days made life a thousand times for manageable.
