So cool Oprah will drink it

So there is a wonderful place called Mr D's here in Kingman. It is an Old Fashion burger joint on the original ROUTE 66. I guess a couple of years ago, Oprah came in the restaurant and fell in love with there Carmel Rootbeer (homemade on site). Since then the restraunt has been a big hit to those doing the trek on Route 66.

Joseph's Niece, Christina, and I decided to check out what all the fuss was about. We loaded up Baby Yo, and headed on down to The Route. True to its word, it is a cute lil'burger joint. It was packed full of people enjoying everything from the Rootbeer, burgers and even pizza. We decided to get some onion rings and Rootbeer to wash it down with. The Carmel Rootbeer was indeed VERY yummy, and the onion rings were fun! :) A bit pricey, with $2.00 a pop for a soda, but defiantly some place I would bring people visiting the area.

We had fun, and I look forward to trying more items on the menu.
